Articling Student

Kyra Nicolacopoulos (she/they) is an articling student based in the firm’ s Ottawa office. Prior to entering the legal sphere, she cultivated her passion for advocacy through her undergraduate research and activism with the queer community in Southwestern Alberta. Her appreciation for unions also lies in Alberta, where she was a unionized public library worker for ten years.

She moved to Ottawa in 2022 to formalize her passion for advocacy through the University of Ottawa’s Juris Doctor program. Her law school experience included work at a local legal clinic on disability rights matters and as a writing leader through the Point First Legal Writing Academy. She was fortunate to work at RavenLaw as a summer student in 2024 and was equally fortunate to work at Egale Canada during her summer student secondment.

Kyra graduated summa cum laude in 2025 and is happy to rejoin the firm as an articling student. In her spare time, Kyra enjoys softball, open world video games, and hanging out with her cats.
