Rohoma Zakir practices in the area of labour, employment, human rights, and administrative law. She represents individuals and unions across Canada with a focus in Ottawa, Ontario.

Prior to joining the firm, Rohoma worked at a boutique labour and employment firm where she represented individuals with employment and human rights issues.
Even before being called to the bar, Rohoma focused on advocating for workers. In law school, she was selected to work on the Ottawa ProBono Employment Law Clinic in its inaugural year. She also collaborated with the Muslim Family Services of Ottawa and the University of Ottawa on the Muslim Legal Clinic Pilot Project which identified employment law issues as a gap in access to justice in Ottawa.

In representing her clients, Rohoma leads with empathy and is determined to protect her clients’ interests as they go through one of the most difficult transitions of their life.

When not working, you can find Rohoma at local cafés, reading books. Recently, she has started dabbling in video games and is looking for recommendations on which games to try out next.
