Raphaëlle Laframboise-Carignan completed her articles with Raven, Cameron, Ballantyne & Yazbeck. She is fluently bilingual and provides legal services in English and French in the areas of labour, employment, administrative, human rights, and constitutional law. She advises and represents clients in situations of wrongful dismissal, short term disability benefits, long term disability benefits, termination packages, discrimination, harassment, and accommodation.

She graduated from the Programme de droit canadien at the University of Ottawa, a program in both Civil law (magna cum laude) and Common law (cum laude).

Raphaëlle has explored her interest in social justice and human rights through her work with the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, where she represented low-income clients on various issues including tenant-related matters.

She acts in matters before federal and provincial courts, boards, tribunals, and arbirators on behalf of public and private sector unions and employees.

Prior to law school, Raphaëlle worked at the Organization of American States (OAS) in their Cultural Program Department in Washington, DC. She participated in the 2007 electoral process in Guatemala as an OAS international election observer.

Raphaëlle likes to travel, snowboard, and go on canoe trips in Algonquin Park.
