Claire Michela completed her articles with Raven, Cameron, Ballantyne & Yazbeck before joining as an Associate in 2021.

Claire has been involved with labour organizing since 2014, as a representative of her union local made up entirely of casual employees. While there, Claire was responsible for her local’s grievances, launched a pay equity complaint, and negotiated two Collective Agreements.

In law school, Claire was involved with the research assistants’ union, the Ticket Defence Program, the Wilson Moot, the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), and all possible labour, employment, and human rights associations.
