Professional Discipline

We have been involved in all types of professional discipline cases and complaints, including professional misconduct, competence, and capacity. Our firm has represented:

  • The health care sector pursuant to the Regulated Health Professions Act before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board.
  • Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses before the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Dentists before the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
  • Pharmacists before the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Lawyers before the Law Society of Upper Canada and le Barreau du Québec.
  • RCMP officers before disciplinary tribunals and the Federal Court.

We prepare written submissions on behalf of the member at the Complaints Committee stage of the investigation, and will appear on behalf of the member before the Discipline Committee.
